General Meeting 2024

The Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Law was held at the Board Room of the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo on 18^th May 2024.

Mrs. Dilani Alagaratnam, the current President commenced the meeting by sharing the Progress Report of the Association for the period commencing the last AGM. She thanked the outgoing Executive committee members and the members of the faculty led by Prof. N.S. Punchihewa for their support and contribution during the two year period she held the post of President.

The new Executive Committee were then elected. The composition of the Executive Committee is as follows:

The incoming President of the Association, Ms. Farzana Jameel, PC, the President, addressed the meeting and outlined in brief the areas to address and intervene for the betterment of the faculty and the membership. She thanked the outgoing President, the Executive committee members and the members of the faculty for their unwavering commitment and support. She also welcomed the new members to the Executive Committee.

M/s Cecil Arseculeratne & Company were appointed to continue as the Auditors of AAFL from 1^st April 2024 to 31^st March 2025.
